Essential items include their journal of choice, pens, a pencil and eraser, scissors, a small ruler, and some type of adhesive such as a glue stick or tape runner. For creative elements, students may want to bring washi tape, stickers, patterned paper scraps, ephemera, a few favorite stamps with an ink pad, and some coloring tools like markers or colored pencils. Optional but helpful items include a paper trimmer, double-sided tape, a small supply pouch, photos or printed images, and any personal treasures they enjoy adding to their pages, such as receipts, notes, and photos.
