Let's begin this year's art journal adventure with wonderful word art and delightful doodling! We will warm up with some fun doodling techniques, then create a quick background page using ink and water, and finally jump into some bold words taking center stage on your journal page!

In addition to bringing your favorite art journaling supplies to class, (like your journal, stamps, stencils, ephemera, gesso, paintbrushes, palette knife, water mister, craft mat, collage glue, inks and blending tools, scissors, heat tool, etc).

Please also bring: Pencil, Eraser, Compass, Ruler, Paint Pens, Gel Pens, Micron or other Fine Liner Pens, and Calligraphy pens. But most importantly bring markers! Karin Brushmarkers, Tombow Dual tip markers, Crayola markers, Sharpies, etc.
