June Art Journal: Distress Pastes & Sprays

It's time for some messy good fun! This month's class will focus on ink sprays and Ranger mediums! Let's learn what all those pastes and mediums do, and which ink to spray on them! We will make some practice pages before jumping into our journal with these techniques.

In addition to bringing all the usual art journaling supplies to class (your journal, gesso, paintbrushes, craft mat, collage glue, paint pens, inks, and blending tools, scissors, heat tool, etc).

Please bring the following goodies to class: Distress Sprays (stains and oxides), water mister, stencils, masks, rubber stamps, a Splat Box, and any Distress Pastes or mediums you have questions about. The instructor will have ink sprays and mediums to share with you in class as well!

The Supplies/Colors used in the Class Sample are:
Distress Stain Sprays:
Saltwater taffy, Vintage photo, Crackling Campfire, Walnut Stain & Antique Linen
Oxide Sprays: Salvaged Patina, Speckled Egg & Faded Jeans.
Distress Mica Stain:  Burning Ember
