Artist Trading Coin Workshop featuring Alcohol Inks

Have you heard about Artist Trading Coins? They are similar to artist trading cards but instead of rectangles, they’re 2½” round!

It's time to experiment with a variety of media, tools & supplies while creating one-of-a-kind Artist Trading Coins. Create your masterpieces with 2½” round glossy cardstock pieces as your bases. Combine Alcohol Inks, stamps, washi tape, punched shapes, stencils, ephemera and more. This will be a workshop filled with creative play!

Along with scissors and adhesive, please bring at least three colors of Ranger Alcohol Inks along with an ink applicator and felt.  Also, bring any of the following you may have and want to use: non-stick craft sheet, stencils, washi tape, ephemera, paper punches, black ink pad (Archival or Memento), black pen, and stamps. There will be a lot of stamps, punches and materials for you to use in class.

After making your Artist Trading Coins, you can trade them with others, collect them, use them as gift tags, use them on cards, or use them on other craft projects.

Note: This will not be a class with step-by-step instructions but rather a workshop where you are guided to experiment with various mediums and tools.  Basic alcohol ink techniques will be demonstrated.

PLEASE NOTE: Reservations for classes must be made at least 2 days in advance.
