"Designed by You" CrafterNoon Cardmaking
You will be designing three cards using card sketches, so each card will be uniquely designed by you with a little help from a sketch. This class will teach you how to use sketches and get out of your comfort zone. Samples shown will be featuring a sketch, so the sky is the limit when it comes to the occasion you want to create for each card. Stamps featured will be from Avery Elle and Stamping Bella. Patterned paper and cardstock may vary. Bring any sentiments you would like to incorporate. Instructor will have some in class, too. Along with your Basic Kit, also bring your favorite coloring medium (Copic markers or colored pencils), black Memento ink pad, and foam dimentional adhesive.

Bloom & Grow Spiral-Bound Journal
Create a handy spiral-bound journal to help you start the new year right. Journal your dreams and goals to start the New Year or use however you chose. Students will learn how to build an album using the Cinch binding method. Plus, students will learn how to create embellishments with die cuts and inked papers. This album has storage for photos and ephemera mementos. A complete paper kit will be provided. Embellishments may vary from sample. In addition to a Basic Kit, students should bring 1/4" Scor tape, glue dots, wet glue of choice, clear Wink of Stella or Tonic glitter brush and Distress Oxide ink pads in Blueprint Sketch, Mowed Lawn and Fossilized Amber.

Crazy About Copics Class:  "No Water" Water Color
One of the hottest trends for cardmaking and other paper crafts is the watercolor look. Learn how to achieve a water color look with your Copics! Please bring your Copic markers, Copic blending solution and paint brushes in different sizes, including a fine detail brush. The Zig Water Brushes are recommended, including the detail and medium brushes. Included in your class fee is all the supplies to create two cards as well as a paint palette.

Crazy about Copics:  Hair & Skin
It's time to get Crazy about Copic Markers!  Attend this class to learn tips & tricks for coloring hair and skin.  Along with your basic class kit, please bring any pens you'd like to use, your Copic colorless blender pen, any stamps you'd like to practice coloring and a black Memento ink pad.  Suggested pens for skin vary depending on your preference; some recommendations include E000-E04, E11-E15, E21-E25, E25-29 or E51-E55.

You'll not only be able to gain new skills, but you'll also create two adorable cards!

It’s time to get crazy about coloring fabric and clothing with Copic markers. Learn the BASICS of coloring pleats and folds as well as coloring and texturizing denim. Along with your Basic Kit, please bring your Copic markers, Copic Colorless Blender Solution and foam adhesive dots. Note: Good pens for coloring denim are B91-B99.

It's a Love Thing - CrafterNoon Card Class
This class will be making 3 LOVE cards just in time for Valentine's Day. The Lawn Fawn Stitched Heart die will be featured in two of the cards. You will be using both traditional and non-traditional colors when designing these cards. A fun and easy watercolor technique will be taught as well. These cards will be easy to reproduce and, just by changing the colors, die shape and sentiments, can be used for other occasions. In addition to your Basic Kit, be sure to bring your watercolors and any sentiment you may want to use.

Crazy about Copics: Monochromatic Coloring
It's time to take your coloring to an entirely new level! Instead of cards with lots of colors, we'll create two monochromatic cards. Each will involve coloring the main image with only one color family but will include a special punch of a different color. You'll learn the importance of blending and shading as you use your Copic markers to color these images monochromatically. In addition to your Basic Kit, please bring your Copic markers, liquid glue (like Glossy Accents or Mat Medium) and tweezers.

Manga/Anime Drawing Course for Ages 10-17
This class is designed for artists/students who love to draw. Young artists will be inspired to see how simple it can be to draw interesting and imaginative characters in Manga drawing style while also being encouraged to develop their own style of drawing. The minimum supplies that students should bring to class include a pencil (mechanical or number 2), a kneaded eraser and a sketchbook. Other suggested supplies include colored pencils, Copic Markers, or a watercolor set; .05 Micron Black pen, and other sizes of Micron pens.

Fun with Ink
Join us to create three cards with great inking techniques to expand your cardmaking skills. Our first ink technique is ink ghosting using a white pigment ink and Distress ink or Distress oxide inks to create a layered ink background for cards. The second technique is an ink resist process using embossing powder and ink blending. Last, but not least, we will do an alcohol ink lift bright background on Yupo paper. In addiiton to your Basic Kit, please bring white pigment ink (such as Versa Magic White Cloud), jet black Archival ink or tuxedo black Memento ink. Also bring three alcohol ink colors and Alcohol lift ink.

Crazy about Cardmaking with Alcohol Inks
Alcohol inks are fun to use and yield impressive results which is just what we want for our card creations! In this class we'll explore a technique utilizing yupo paper, alcohol inks, stencils and the Alcohol Lift Ink refill! Along with your Basic kit, please bring at least 3 colors of Ranger alcohol inks, Ranger blending solution, an Ink Applicator with felt, a Alcohol Lift Ink refill, FOAM ink applicator pads, liquid adhesive (Glossy Accents or Mat Medium), and tweezers. Also, bring any stencils and sentiment stamps you may want to use. If you have a heat gun, bring that also.

Alcohol Ink Class Feb 2019

Beautiful Botanicals
Flowers come in all shapes, colors and sizes and our class today will be exploring some techniques to help you as you watercolor these sweet botanicals. Two cards will feature Stampers Anonymous' "Flower Garden" and Avery Elle's "Floral Bouquet" stap sets with an easy masking technique. A third card will revive your inner artist as you learn a siple watercolor brush stronk to design this sweet and simple card. In addition to your Basic Kit, please bring watercolors, an assortment of brushes and any sentiment stamps you'd like to use.

"Scrapbook Your Year" Workshop - March & April
Document your 2019 in our "Scrapbook Your Year" series of classes!  We’ll create a calendar page and complimentary picture page for two months at each workshop. And, best of all, your class kit will include additional 12”x12” papers and embellishments to use for additional pages or projects!  Bring your Basic Kit, foam adhesive dots, pens and any embellishments you’d like to use to embellish your pages.

SB Your Year March and April pages

For all classes, please bring a Basic Kit - scissors, adhesive & a paper trimmer. Exceptions will be noted in the class descriptions.

Class participants must be at least 12 years old, with the exception of designated children's classes. Exceptions may be made by talking to the instructor. Due to space limitations, we cannot allow guests or observes for classes, including pets. (Service animals are welcome. Please let us know if you will need a service animal so we can seat you in an area that will be comfortable for everyone in attendance.)

Class content/prices, etc. subject to change, although not likely. Confirm content and price when making reservations. 

If you are interested in a private class, let us know. We love conducting private classes and can accommodate your ideas and budget.

What is a Crop or Open Craft?  For those who love to craft, a Crop is a fun event to attend. It is a great time to gather with friends and other crafting enthusiasts to share ideas, learn new techniques and get focused on your projects. You don't have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy crops; many of our guests work on other projects like card making, altered art, and DIY projects. When attending a Crop, you will need to bring supplies that will keep you busy. Many guests will bring totes or bags filled with paper, scissors, trimmers, adhesive, photos, albums, etc. We have various stamps, stencils, punches and dies you can also use. Plus, you can shop at our store during the event. At Crops, each person gets a six-foot table to use so there is plenty of room to spread out and get creative!
