This class is designed for artist/students who love to draw. Young artists will be inspired to see how simple it can be to draw interesting and imaginative characters in Manga drawing style while also being encouraged to develop their own style of drawing.

Drop-In Students:  Drop-in students must bring at least a pencil, kneaded eraser and sketchbook.
Returning Students: A new workbook TBA and all other supplies. Make sure students have the basics.
New Session Students need to bring: Strathmore Learn to Draw Manga book; mechanical pencil; kneaded erasers; colored pencils, Copic Markers or a watercolor set; and .05 Micron black pen. All supplies are available at Scrapper's Edge.

Crazy about Copics; "No Water Water Color"   
One of the hottest trends for cardmaking and other paper crafts is the watercolor look. Learn how to achieve a water color look with your Copics! Please bring your Copic markers, Copic blending solution and paint brushes in different sizes, including a fine detail brush. The Zig Water Brushes are recommended, including the detail and medium brushes. Included in your class fee is all the supplies to create two cards as well as a paint palette.

Back by popular demand!!!  Copic Sketch markers are alcohol-based markers that are very popular!  Take this class to learn about the Copic marker labeling system, blending techniques and other Copic basics.  And, best of all, make two cards utilizing your new techqniques!  Please bring any Copic markers and supplies you have, a black memento ink pad, and your basic kit.

Crazy about Copics: Hair & Skin
It's time to get even crazier about Copic Markers!  Attend this class to learn tips & tricks for coloring hair and skin.  Along with your basic class kit, please bring any Copic markers you'd like to use, your Copic colorless blender pen, any stamps you'd like to practice coloring and a black Memento ink pad.  Suggested pens for skin vary depending on your preference; some recommendations include E000-E04, E11-E15, E21-E25, E25-29 or E51-E55. You'll not only be able to gain new skills, but you'll also create two adorable cards!

Easter Card Class:  Bunny Love
Hop on over and join us as we create three cards featuring the Echo Park bunny die, Doodlebug "Easter Express" papers and sheen cardstock. Explore how to use the same bunny die in three different ways to get three completely different looks. Along with your basic kit, please bring foam adhesive dots, tweezers and Glossy Accents or other liquid adhesive. You may also want to bring any sentiment stamps or border punches you'd like to use.

Pixie Stick Club
Join us this month for a fun spring-themed Pixie Stick class!  We will create a cute card featuring Lawn Fawn stamps. Please bring your own tape runner and scissors; all other supplies will be provided. Remember all ages are welcome in this class. Children 7 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Parents are also encouraged to stay and help their child of any age. Hope to see you there!

CrafterNoon Cardmaking - Flower Power 1
We will be expressiong our flower power by creating some whimsical scenes using Paper Smooches' "Best Buds" stamp set. You will be using watercolor paper and the watercolor medium of your choice. One technique will feature making a fun background using the little extras in the stamp set plus a bit of doodling. This stamp set is a fun one and has endless possibilities for creating patterns for your cards. Hope you will join us as we make 3 cheerful cards to celebrate Spring in full bloom! Along with your Basic Kit, please bring a waterbrush, watercolor medium (pencils, Distress ink pads, Tombow markers, etc.), heat gun, white gel pen and black Micron pen. If you have the "Best Buds" stamp set be sure to bring it to class with your MISTI (or other Stamp Positioner). There will be a list of supplies used with the card samples on the store's Class Board but you are encouraged to get creative and try other colors!

Distress to Impress Workshop featuring the NEW Distress Oxide Inks
Have you been curious about the new Distress Oxide ink pads? Wondering how they're different than the regular Distress ink pads? Then join the fun as we explore the wonderful properties and creative possibilities of the Oxides! These inks are a pigment and dye fusion that have a chalk-like finish, work well on darker cardstocks, and create oxidized effects when combined with water. Along with your Basic Kit, please bring two or more Distress Oxide ink pads, an ink blending tool with foam and a mini mister with water. If you have them, bring a heat gun and a non-stick craft sheet. You can also bring any stencils and sentiment stamps you'd like to use.

Crazy about Copics - Using Colored Pencils & Copics
Learn to add depth and shading to your Copic-colored creations by using colored pencils. Along with your Copic markers, please bring color pencils, an erasser, a pencil sharpener, and either a Tombow blender pen or  Blending stumps, a sander and gamsol.

Beginning Scrapbooking
Join us to learn the basics of photo safety, scrapbooking terminology, cropping photos, matting photos and designing a layout from sketches.  Fee is $10 plus whatever supplies you need from the store to complete your page(s). Please bring 3- photos you'd like on a page plus whatever supplies you may want to use.  If you have adhesive, scissors and a paper trimmer, bring those too!

CrafterNoon Cardmaking - Flower Power 2
This is the second class in the Flower Power series. This class features two techniques. One technique will be using layered stamps to give a watercolor look using Distress ink pads. The second technique will be a no-line watercolor technique. If you have an inexpensive watercolor set, this would be ideal for this technique. Hope you will join us! Along with your Basic Kit, please bring watercolors, brushes (round #2, #12), heat gun, Distress ink pads (Antique Linen, Squeezed Lemon, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn), dimensional adhesive and Mini Mister.  Be sure to check the Class Board for the supplies used in the samples. These are just suggestions; you are encouraged to try your own combination of colors!

3 Cards, 3 Fun Backgrounds!
Join us to create three cards with three fun, different techniques for backgrounds. The first background is a faux quilt look; the second is a distress blended stneciled background; and the third is a watercolor background. Along with your Basic Kit, please bring a stylus or bonefolder, ink blending tool with foam, score board or paper cutter and a water brush.

National Scrapbook Day Crop
Aloha!  Join us for our annual National Scrapbook Day Celebration! This will be the Crop of all Crops!  Each person will receive a special goody bag. We will have special games & prizes throughout the event. Pizza lunch and Hawaiian dinner will be included. Space is limited so register early by calling 707-445-9686.

  • Reservations and PAYMENT for classes must be made at least 48 hours in advance unless otherwise noted (so the instructors have time to prepare!)  Reservations may be cancelled by phone or in person until 48 hours before the class in order to receive a refund.  Class participants must be at least 12 years old, with the exception of designated children's classes.  Due to space limitations, we cannot allow "guests" or "observers" for classes, including pets.   (Service animals are welcome; please let us know if you will need a service animal so we can seat  you in an area that will be comfortable for everyone in attendance.)
  • Class content/prices, etc. subject to change, although not likely.  Confirm content and price when making reservations.  If you're interested in a private class, let us know!  We love conducting private classes and can accommodate your ideas and budget!
  • What is a crop? for those who love to craft, a Crop is a fun event to attend. It is a great time to gather with friends and other craft enthusiasts to share ideas, learn new techniques and get focused on your projects.  You don't have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy Crops; we have many guests who work on other projects like card making, altered art and other DIY projects.  When attending a Crop, you will need to bring supplies that will keep you busy.  Many guests will bring their rolling storage totes filled with paper, scissors, trimmer, adhesive, photos, albums, etc.  We have various stamps, stencils, punches and dies you cal also use.  Plus, you can shop at our store during the event.  At Crops, each person gets a six-foot table to use so there is plenty of room to spread out and get creative!
