Beginning Scrapbooking
Join us to learn the basics of photo safety, scrapbooking terminology, cropping photos, matting photos and designing a layout from sketches.  Please bring 3+ photos you'd like on a page plus whatever papers and supplies you may like to use. If you have scissors, adhesive and a paper trimmer, bring those too!

*Fee is $10 plus whatever supplies you need from the store to complete your page(s).

Christmas Critters CrafterNoon Class
A fun afternoon is planned using the Penny Black "Snow Much Fun" stamp set to make some adorable cards. We will be watercoloring the two Christmas-themed "critter" cards and you will learn how to use masking paper to develop a scene with a simple background of trees and snow. We will also create a Thanksgiving card using the Lawn Fawn small stitched leaves and fancy scalloped rectangle dies and Distress ink pads. In addition to your Basic Kit, please bring fall-colored Distress ink pads, three green water-based markers (Tombow or Distress), black Micron pen, pencil with eraser, heat gun, a watercolor medium, brushes and any of the following that you may have: white gel pen, stamp positioner and Thanksgiving sentiment stamps.

Crazy about Copics:  Metal Basics
Get crazier about Copic markers as you learn to create a metal-look while coloring. You'll learn how layer and blend colors to create the appearance of various types of metal including tin, steel, copper, gold and more! After practicing various combinations, you'll create two adorable cards featuring the Stampendous "Watering Can Bird" stamp. Along with your Basic Kit, please bring your Copic markers and any sentiment stamps you may want to use.

Lunch Time Creative Fun -- Wooden Spool Ornaments
Bring a little creative goodness to your lunch hour by altering three wooden spools with paper, buttons and floss to create Christmas ornaments that will be great to adorn your tree or give as a gift. You'll even receive tips on how to embellish your creations further after class. There will be many different patterned papers, flosses and buttons to choose from. All you need to bring is liquid adhesive such as The Ultimate or Glossy Accents.

Bring your projects and be prepared to have fun!  You'll be able to stretch out on your own six-foot table while you create your masterpieces!  Pizza on Friday, Sandwiches & Evening Snacks on Saturday, and beverages are included.

Thankful & Blessed Card Class
Embrace the season of thankfulness while creating three Thanksgiving-themed cards featuring paper punching, die cutting, dry embossing and inking. These cards will be just as fun to make as they will be to give. In addition to your Basic Kit, please bring foam adhesive dots and a brown-colored Distress ink pad and ink applicator with foam if you have them. Also, bring any sentiment stamps you may want to use.

Altered Composition Book
Create a retro-looking altered composition book great for storing recipes, creating meal plans, journaling your favorite restaurants or noting ideas for food pairings. You could even use it to record stories and memories of your favorite cooks and their best dishes. How you use this bring and colorful book will be up to you; it would even make a great gift. The composition book and papers will be provided. In addition to your Basic Kit, please bring ScorTape or redline tape and a glue stick.

"Thankful for Us" Scrapbooking Class
It’s the season to be thankful!  Join us to make a 2-page layout that you'll treasure that displays the people you're thankful for. These pages feature the beautiful Bo Bunny "Garden Party" papers, sticker letters, border punches and die cuts. Along with your Basic Kit, bring a ruler (t-square) and foam adhesive dots. You may also want to bring pictures of people you are thankful for, including one 4"x6" photo and four 3"x3" photos.

"The Heart of Christmas" CrafterNoon Class
Join us this afternoon to make three cards featuring the Penny Black "Heart Wreath" stamp. It's the perfect stamp to use to make clean and simple Christmas cards. We will be designing three different looks from this one stamp. These will be ideal for the colorist too. We will be coloring on watercolor paper so be sure to bring your watercolors. You can choose any watercolor medium to use for this class; just make sure to bring a small brush or detail waterbrush and a larger brush (size 10-12 round) for the background wet-on-wet technique. In addition to your Basic Kit and the brushes just mentioned, please bring a heat gun, watercolor medium (waterbased markers, ink, tubes or cakes), and any Christmas sentiment stamps they would like to use.

Lunch Time Creative Fun - Bottlecap Snowman Ornament
Bring a little creative goodness to your lunch hour by creating an adorable snowman out of flattened bottlecaps, glitter glue, paper, ribbon and floss. This ornament is so fun and easy to make you'll probably want to make more at home. Whether you adorn your tree with your creations or give them as gifts, they'll be treasured for years to come. All you need to bring is liquid adhesive such as The Ultimate or Goop.

How to Foil 2
Create two holiday tags, a wine bottle topper and a card!  Using Deco Foil and Deco Foil transfer gel, we will create four background effects for our projects. We will stamp using transfer gel and apply Deco Foil to a card for the background. For the wine bottle topper we will use Deco Foil transfer gel and glitter. We will create a stenciled transfer gel and Deco Foil tag. For this tag we will use a stencil, distress inks, Deco Foil transfer gel but no deco foil so you can achieve a clear shine on your card.  In addition to your Basic Kit, please bring stamp blocks or a stamp positioning tool (MISTI , Tim Holtz stamp platform, etc), Distress ink pad in Lucky Clover and Candied Apple, and a jet black Archival ink pad.

"Christmas Wishes" Cardmaking Workshop
Mix and match patterned papers and diecuts as you make Christmas cards with a vintage shabby chic look. These cards feature KaiserCraft's "Mint Wishes" patterned papers and diecuts along with Tim Holtz and LaLa Land dies cut from gold shimmery cardstock. Finishing touches will include white ribbon, adhesive pearls and flowers. Make up to 8 cards in class with plenty of extras to make more on your own.  Along with your Basic Kit, please bring glue dots and/or adhesive foam dots.

Class participants must be at least 12 years old, with the exception of designated children's classes. Exceptions may be made by talking to the instructor. Due to space limitations, we cannot allow guests or observes for classess, including pets. (Service animals are welcome. Please let us know if you will need a service animal so we can seat you in an area that will be comfortable for everyone in attendance.)

Class content/prices, etc. subject to change, although not likely. Confirm content and price when making reservations. 

If you are interested in a private class, let us know. We love conducting private classes and can accomodate your ideas and budget.

What is a Crop or Open Craft?  For those who love to craft, a Crop is a fun event to attend. It is a great time to gather with friends and other crafting enthusiasts to share ideas, learn new techniques and get focused on your projects. You don't have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy crops; many of our guests work on other projects like card making, altered art and DIY projects. When attending a Crop, you will need to bring supplies that will keep you busy. Many guests will bring totes or bags filled with paper, scissors, trimmers, adhesive, photos, albums, etc. We have various stamps, stencils, punches and dies you can also use. Plus, you can shop at our store during the event. At Crops, each person gets a six-foot table to use so there is plenty of room to spread out and get creative!
